Another Lavotte has gotten out on the lose this time murdering a young 16 year old TRINIDADIAN youth , KEVIN CEDENO in Washington heights where "PIGS" like officer ANTHONY PELLEGRINI from the 33d Precinct roam free to kill ( Black) oppressed masses and is given 48 HRS to lie e.g. "... he had a gun I hit him in the stomach..." plus a "BULLY ANY" MAYOR who on SUNDAY bragged about the actions of the "PIG".

SO far this incident has not made the NATIONAL news in N.Y.C. The press, which acts as a PR dirm for the police, has published the teeanager Cedeno's record to criminalise him so that that his death can be easily justified on the basis of his prior encounters with the law. (See the New York Post and other right- wing press publications). Utrise Leed a Trinidadian, [WBAI-FM] is one of the few persons who has presented a balanced report of this unfortunate incident.

The D. A. has gagged the press and will not allow anyone to question Cedeno's murderer. The coroner's report shows that Cedeno's death was caused by a gun shot wound that entered his back from a distance of about 15 ft. He was shot in the BACK while RUNNING FROM THE PIG!!! BACKED BY THE state and the District Attorney, Robert M. Morgenthau has declined to speak to investigators and the press about Cedeno's shooting. This is the same Robert Morgenthau who guaranteed " ... no justice, no peace ..." for the Crown Heights Guaynese family whose child was killed when a car was driven through a red light.

On April 11, 1997, two hundred masses, including the Trinidadian CEDENOS family gathered at a shrine of flowers and candles outside 2091 Amsterdam AVE. between 163 rd and 164 th Sts. From this shrine, they marched to the auditorium at Public Shool 28 chanting the lyrics from he BRO. D rap tune " How we gonna make the BLACK NATION RISE" as well as " ... no justice no peace..". A follow up rally was held at the school auditorium. The crowd in attendance at the rally had swelled to six hundred strong. During the rally, a petition to District Attorney, Robert M. Morgenthau was circulated. This petition stated : " We, the residents of the Washington Heights community, demand that your office bring Officer Anthony Pellegrini before a Grand jury that will ultimately seek his indictment for the wrongful death of 16 year old Kevin Cedeno".

The New York Times reported that, Al "THE MAN " Sharpton (who is in the running for Mayor of New York City) made the following statement on behalf of the Cedeno family.

"We want the city of NEW YORK to know that they mourn and we mourn . We are one family tonight. When they shoot one of us, they shoot all of us ."

Now let us be realistic. Speeches and many marches later are the events that got us in this mess in the first place. History has been redundant in proving that true political change comes differently for us. The rest is up to you ( the masses ). This time it was Kevin who was killed. The next time it will be YOU or someone who is very close to you.

[Editor: The events surrounding the Cedeno incident are as controversial as those surrounding Mumia Abu Jamal. The Cedeno incident - Teenager and Police, one or both have guns; teenager is killed. Is the policeman a murderer? Was unreasonable force justified? Is the killing racially motivated? These troubling questions can only be answered after an unbiased evaluation of the facts.]

If the USA and Ted Koppel don't like Kabila, then he must be a GOOD MAN. It is the same United Snakes who disliked the people's democratic hero Patrice Lumumba and loved, defended, protected backed and endorsed the murderous peoples enemy Mobutu Sese Seko. Today is the end of the three day period; thus the end of Pig Mobutu Sese Seko, and the Victory of the BLOOD OF Patrice Lumumba. I say, today, lets rename Zaire.., the CONGO!!!
