Second Annual Four Day Marathon Reggae Weekend

ATTENTION:

Radio DJ's, artiste management, record execs, record labels, and all media

WUSB 90.1 FM Stony Brook in Long Island, NY will host the 2nd annual FOUR DAY MARATHON REGGAE WEEKEND to be held on Thursday, December 26 (Jamaica's BOXING DAY) non-stop to Sunday, December 29, 1996!

This unprecedented event will feature ALL reggae and dancehall music starting at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 26th and going straight through Sunday December 29th. The marathon will once again be hosted and organized by WUSB's own reggae radio personalities LISTER HEWAN-LOWE, and KIBRET NEGUSE, as well as guest host duties by invited radio DJ's, reggae artistes, and other VIP's in the reggae industry.

Reggae CD's, tapes and tickets will be once again given away throughout the marathon as well as a free trip to Jamaica, courtesy of ECOTOURS FOR CURES. There will also be a live link to Jamaica backstage at STING '96 where reporters VINETTE PRYCE, KIM SMITH, KEN MILLER, JABBA from HOT '97, and others will give us exclusive reasonings with the hottest performers.

WUSB 90.1 FM is Long Island's largest non-commercial radio station operating with 4000 watts of power and reaches an audience spanning Long Island, Queens, as well as parts of Connecticut and Westchester.

Last year's internationally recognized event was an enormous success, and the demand from WUSB's listeners and guests to host another was overwhelming.
