Bob Marley owned a BMW and a green Land Rover Defender. The green Land Rover Defender is a distinctive vehicle that is common in the West Indies and Europe. It is also common among the enforcers, army and police. There is an anecdote that once the Wailers showed up in the Land Rover to collect some weed at a Rasta camp. Everyone scattered because the Land Rover was mistaken for a police vehicle. Bob's Land Rover is now in the possession of Clint O'Neil.

WBAI, one of the Pacifica Foundation stations is looking at upcoming layoffs and headline news to remedy a $400K budget shortfall. The station collected only $800K from listener donations. This was $400K short of the projected $1.2 billion dollar budget. To avert the closing, fourteen full time members face layoffs. In addition, there a proposed major change in programming is to have headline news at the top of each hour. This imminent restructuring, that will bring solvency to the station, goeas against the grain of the staffers and will have a significant impact on listeners.
Listener vocalization response.
